Miles Tulloch was born in Vancouver, Canada. He graduated from Simon Fraser University in 1976 with a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in history and political science. He went on to complete his British Columbia teaching certification one year later. Mr. Tulloch's studies in hapkido began under the watchful eye of Grandmaster Song-Jae Han in November of 1984. Mr. Song awarded Mr. Tulloch his first degree black belt in August of 1988 and his second degree black belt in July of 1995. Grand master Song- Jae Han was awarded his fifth degree black belt in Korea by the founder of our style Ji-Han Jae. Recently Master Tulloch has earned his sixth dan under the founder of modern Hapkido, Ji-Han Jae. Under Ji-Han Jae Master Tulloch is one of the highest ranking Hapkido black belts in Canada and North America. As such any black belts or dans awarded by Master Tulloch and Hapkido Vancouver will be registered and certified by Do Ju Nim Ji –Han Jae the master of masters.
